Simon wins the Dan Male Trophy
In what turned out to be glorious conditions, Simon Pearce recorded a superb 42 points to win this year's Dan Male Trophy.
Presenting the trophy in memory of his son, Perranporth stalwart Mike Male was delighted that Simon had taken the prize this year given Simon's long record as a member of PGC.
In second place with the best of those on 41 points, was Ian Jackson, ahead of (junior) George Law in third and Club Captain Paul Jenks in fourth. Four players took the remainder of the prizes, all on 40 points: David Cann, (junior) Zack Cook, Joe Zammit and Tim Griffin. An excellent field of 63 players thoroughly enjoyed their day.
